A Look At The Career Life Of Anthony Constantinou, An Assistant Professor And Lecturer

 

Anthony Constantinou is an assistant professor and lecturer in Machine Learning and Data Mining at a London-based prestigious university, Queen Mary University of London. He has served in the position for one year and he has also been made the Head of the Bayesian AI Lab. His service has been outstanding and since he earned his Computer Science degree from University of Hertfordshire in 2008, he has always been on the move, every time for the better. He majored on artificial intelligence (AI), an area he has researched and expounded on.

 

In 2008, Anthony Constantinou enrolled for his Master of Science degree in University of Hertfordshire and majored in artificial intelligence with robotics. After graduating with a distinction in 2009, more doors opened for him. He was absorbed by Queen Mary University of London as a teaching assistant. In his position as a teaching assistant, he specialized in several modules including Software Risk Assessment, Procedural Programming and Software Engineering.

 

Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) saw the potential in Anthony Constantinou and sponsored his Doctor of Philosophy studies. During his Ph.D. studies, he majored in Bayesian networks designed for risk assessment, prediction as well as decision-making. He completed his Ph.D. studies in 2012 and consequently, he became a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Queen Mary University of London.

 

As a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, Anthony Constantinou specialized on NIHR project on Bayesian networks in forensic psychiatry at Barts as well as The London School of Medicine as well as Dentistry. Additionally, he worked on ERC project which looked to improve and drive informed decision making.

 

Prior to joining Queen Mary University of London, he worked in various companies and when he was still finding a bearing to his career life in 2002, he joined the Greek Cypriot National Guard as a solder where he worked for 2 years. Anthony Constantinou also worked briefly in AgenaRisk as an intern before being promoted to become an associate consultant in the company.
