She is the richest woman in Africa and is the first child of the president of Angola’s former President José Eduardo dos Santos. How is Isabel Africa’s first billionaire woman? Her father made her the president of Sonangol, Angola’s state oil firm during which she acquired stakes in the company. She was later removed from this position by the new president of Angola in 2017. Apart from that she also has major shares in different Angolan companies such as banks and telecommunications.
